We can't do it without you!
Make a difference in your community...and have fun doing it! Each volunteer is part of the GR family and helps ensure we can continue on for many years to come. With no paid employees, volunteers put together the entire rodeo. From picking up trash to helping coordinate the arena events, we can't do it without you!

Volunteers need to be of age 16 years or older to volunteer.
Group Fundraising
We offer opportunities for nonprofit groups to earn money for their clubs by assisting us in the daily operations of the Gilroy Rodeo. These may include trash clean up, ticket taking, parking detail, table bussing, etc. If your group is interested in making a commitment to these or similar tasks, please email: volunteers@gilroyrodeo.com. In 2023, we were proud to donate over $30,500 to organizations who volunteered with us.
Community Service
Are you looking for community service hours? We've got you covered. GR is a non-profit and any hours spent volunteering with us, count as community service. Please let the volunteer coordinator know you plan to use your hours for community service, and we will gladly sign off at the end of your shift.
Benefits of Volunteering
